Description:
Samuel Mariño, born in Venezuela in 1993, studied piano and ballet at the Simon Bolivar National Conservatory of Music. After studying piano and ballet at the Simon Bolivar National Conservatory of Music, he became fascinated by opera, especially baroque opera, and sang his first male soprano role at the Camerata Barocca in Caracas. After studying at the National University of the Arts in Caracas, she continued her studies at the Conservatoire in Paris, graduating in 2017, and made her operatic debut in 2018 singing Alessandro in "Berenice, Queen of Egypt" at the Handel Festival in Halle, where she enjoyed a very successful performance. This debut album includes arias from Handel's and Gluck's operas, notably three world premiere recordings of Gluck's works. The great appeal of this album is its beautiful voice that resonates evenly and beautifully up to the high notes, its wide range of expressive power, and its outstanding stability.
