Here comes the debut CD of Marie Kigome, a pianist whose music I am currently holding and will be aiming for in the future. Marie Kigome is an up-and-coming pianist who was born in Kanazawa, Japan, graduated from Tokyo College of Music High School, and moved to Poland, where she studied at the Chopin University of Music, graduating at the top of her class. She has been invited to give recitals in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Lithuania, and other European countries, as well as at international music festivals such as MITO (Italy) and Alion (Estonia), and has performed with the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, and Philarmonica Ortenia. In 2017, she moved her home base to Tokyo, and the first thing she worked on was the production of this CD, which started when she was engaged in the promotion of SA-CDs at Sony, which she met by chance in Poland, and then moved to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, where she worked as an assistant professor. The first step was to produce this CD with the help of Yoshihisa Mori, who was engaged in the promotion of SA-CDs at Sony, where he met by chance in Poland, and later taught the course "History of Sound Technology" at the Department of Music Environment Creation of Tokyo University of the Arts.This CD contains 13 pieces by four composers, filled with memories of performing them in concerts, competitions, and various other settings, mainly in Europe. The recording was made at Mitaka City Arts Theatre's Kaze no Hall, which is known for its excellent acoustics, and was recorded on a New York Steinway. Universal Music/IMS
