Legacy of Pianist Yusuke Sato, Who Died Suddenly at the Age of 35 A masterful performance of "Golberg" by a pianist who spun out a brilliant sound. Mizumiko Tsukatani and Yusuke Sato perform the awesome "Golteberg" in the two-piano arrangement by Rheinberger/Reger. Pianist Yusuke Sato, who passed away suddenly on April 19, 2024, worked diligently on two arrangements of the "Goltberg Variations" under the direction of Mizumashi Tsukatani in 2017, and they will be released simultaneously. This album features the Rheinberger/Reger two-piano arrangement performed by Mizumuko Tsukatani and Yusuke Sato. The two-piano version of "Goltsberg" is a tremendous work born out of the Bach revival, written for Bach students and music lovers. The chemistry between the two geniuses produces an astonishingly rich sound. This is truly a unique and precious recording that will see the light of day. Although it is a private recording, you can see Sato at the peak of his powers, playing lively and vibrant music. We will also release the Busoni version of "Golberg" (PCD-1611), spun by Weinertone on Sato's beloved Bösendorfer instrument.
