The latest album released by TETRA RECORDS is now available in analog form with additional new songs! A prodigious singer-songwriter who has released 7" on Kakubarizm and Thunder Sound Records! Her 4th album released in 2021 is now available in LP edition with the addition of a new song "Portable Exotica". The theme of "Portable Exotica," the triptych that follows her second album "The Peanut Vendors" and third album "P's Muzak," both titled with "P," is exotica. The album contains 12 nostalgic and pop songs that incorporate elements of country and swamp as well as influences from respected masters of exotic sounds such as Haruomi Hosono, Makoto Kubota, Martin Denny, and Arthur Lyman.' It is a slightly tropical and exquisite sound, as if it were a modern update of the Happiando - Tin Pan Alley area of the 70s and early 80s, with romantic melodies and life-size Japanese poems that sparkle with a blue, sweet, and sour tinge.Guest musicians include Yu Taniguchi (1983, Adachi Reisaburo and the Delicious Water, ex Mori wa Ikiteiru), Kengo Watase (bjons, roppen), Cactus Band, Kazuhiko Masumura (ex Mori wa Ikiteiru), Tomoyuki Otsuka (ex Shamcats), Sanda Takahashi, Risa Nakagawa (the Natsuyasumi Band).
