The performances are all excellent, especially the "Three New Practices," "Lullaby," and the difficult "Boat Song. A great performance is not one that self-righteously overpowers the others, but one that accurately tells us what is interesting about the other performances and has an inexhaustible store of riches that promises new discoveries every time we return to listen to it again.
