Description:
Dragonflies is a collaborative project that brings together the songwriting, production, and film scoring experience that Dhani Harrison and Nigel Godrich have cultivated over many years. Their debut album will be released by Dark Horse Records/BMG. Dhani Harrison is a two-time Grammy Award-winning musician, composer, and producer. After gaining attention with the band thenewno2, he released his solo debut, *IN///PARALLEL*, in 2017, followed by the critically acclaimed *INNERSTANDING*. He is also known for his collaborations with the Wu-Tang Clan, UNKLE, John McLaughlin, Annie Lennox, Pearl Jam, Nitin Sawhney, Perry Farrell, Prince, Regina Spektor, and Fistful of Mercy (which Dhani formed with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur). He is also active as a composer for film and television, making his debut in film scoring with the 2013 movie *Beautiful Creatures*. Since then, he has composed music for numerous film and television projects, including *MATANGI/MAYA/M.I.A.*, *Cut Throat City*, *Obey Giant: The Art and Story of Shepard Fairey*, *Good Girls Revolt*, and *The Case Against Adnan Syed*. Nigel Godrich, on the other hand, is one of the leading music producers and recording engineers of our time. He has collaborated with Radiohead since 1994 and has produced all of their studio albums since *OK Computer* (1997). He is a two-time Grammy Award winner and is also known as a member of Atoms for Peace, which he formed with Thom Yorke, Flea, Joey Waronker, and Mauro Refosco. He has also worked with numerous artists, including Paul McCartney, Beck, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, IDLES, Roger Waters, Air, Pavement, Travis, and R.E.M., and co-produced the music for the film *Scott Pilgrim vs. the World* with Beck. Furthermore, he planned and produced the live video series “From the Basement,” which featured performances by Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth, Beck, Geese, and The White Stripes.
