Peter Evans, a renowned New York based trumpet player, improviser and composer, is releasing his debut album "Extra" on We Jazz Records! The band consists of Evans on trumpet, Petter Eldo (Koma Saxo/Post Koma) on bass, and Jim Black on drums, and was recorded at Namouche Studios in Lisbon, Portugal. Peter Evans is often praised for his technical prowess, but first and foremost, he pursues a broader musical vision. In other words, the trio's exceptional musical talent is not surpassed by the unity of the unit in realizing the music at hand.
