This latest album, written during the lockdown period, was the result of Charlene and bassist/guitarist Johnny McElhone discovering outtakes from the recording sessions for the 1997 UK No. 1 album "White on Blonde" that they had forgotten even existed. The album was produced after Johnny McElhone discovered outtakes from the recording sessions for the 1997 UK No. 1 album White on Blonde, which he had forgotten even existed. When they discovered these hidden gems, they had planned to release them as a "lost album," but as they listened to the material they discovered, they were inspired by their own past sounds, and this sparked a new creative urge. Charlene comments on the new album, "This is a hidden gem of a record. The excitement of finding these hidden gems, combined with the excitement of those days that came back to us when we listened to the recordings, brought new songs to mind that we never thought we'd be able to write. In other words, we were inspired by ourselves to make this album.(About "Unbelievable") We haven't done a lot of ballads, but this song has stayed with me. Lyrically, it's very personal and personal, but the sound is very epic.
