The band has completed its seventh studio album, "NO GODS NO MASTERS," in five years, which is a statement against the chaos of modern society with its aggressive, sharp, powerful, and pop rock sound. Gurbidge is a brilliant pop monster rock band. The album was produced by three producers, including Butch Vig, one of the most important producers in the U.S. alternative scene and a world-renowned producer who produced Nirvana's "Nevermind" and the Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream". After releasing their best album "ABSOLUTE GARBAGE" in 2007, the band went on a long recharge period, but returned in 2012 with their 5th album "NOT YOUR KIND OF PEOPLE" in 2012.They released their 6th album "STRANGE LITTLE BIRDS" in 2016 and "VERSION 2.0: THE OFFICIAL REMIXES" in 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their second album "VERSION 2.0". In 2018, they released "VERSION 2.0: THE OFFICIAL REMIXES" to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of their second album "VERSION 2.0". The seeds for the long-awaited new album were planted in the summer of 2018. The members gathered at a house owned by a relative of guitarist Steve Marker in the desert of Palm Springs, California, where they spent two weeks jamming, testing songs, and experimenting sonically to create the framework for the album. They returned to their respective homes with the finished demos in hand, and after some time they gathered again in Los Angeles to finish the album. (1/2)
