Formed in Calgary, Canada in 1979 by Paul Dean (g) and Mike Reno (vo), the band became popular worldwide in the early 80's with hits such as "Working for the Weekend," "Hot Girls in Love," and "Queen Of The Broken Hearts. Loverboy is a melodic hard rock band that boasts worldwide popularity with hits such as "Working for the Weekend," "Hot Girls in Love," and "Queen Of The Broken Hearts" in the early 80's, and has also had a great influence on later bands such as Bon Jovi and MR. Loverboy). The previously unreleased live footage and sound files from 1982, after the release of "Get Lucky," the biggest hit of their career, including the hit singles "Working for the Weekend" and "When It's Over," have now been unearthed from Paul Dean's personal archives. Both the 16mm film footage and sound recordings have been completely restored and remixed for a limited edition CD + Blu-ray release on earMUSIC.
