Hymns were first passed down orally and later through sheet music, and even after centuries, they continue to bestow a mysterious power upon us. So, what will become of the electric guitar—which continues to be created today and provides us modern listeners with various forms of power? This question serves as the starting point for this CD. This CD was born from a group of musicians who believed that, in this era at the dawn of the 21st century, a collaboration between sacred hymns and electric instruments—such as the guitar—would double their vitality, resonating not only with people living today but also exerting some kind of influence on humanity hundreds of years from now.
