NICOLAS GORODETZKY, who led one of France's most popular AOR bands, WEEK END MILLIONNAIRE, and also worked as a soloist, became a successful musician and a paramedic, and has been called "Doctor Rock" for some time. His band, Dr. Rock and the Famous Merengo, released a CD and LP at the end of 2023. The song "Without You" has light guitar cuts, an electric piano, and a mellow, sunset-inspired tune with a pleasant chorus, while "Crazy Gina" has a Steely Dan-like urban funk sound that builds into a call-and-response chorus that will make your mouth water, PARIS CITY BLUES" depicts the blues of the city of Paris with its shady melody and urban sound of an electric piano riff with bouncing phrases, and is a smooth and refreshing piece that will surely appeal to West Coast AOR lovers!
