From Australia! Indie pop band Foreign Correspondent, supported by mellow sound lovers such as Prefab Sprout, Mr. & Mrs. Muffins, Benny Sings, etc., is releasing their long-awaited new 7-inch! *blue-very label* (Kamakura) has formed a business alliance with ADVAN MUSIC (Tokyo) and will jointly release a selection of Western music. The first release will be the second single "Sonnets for a Serviette" by the Australian indie pop band Foreign Correspondent, which will be their first single in almost two years! Their masterpiece first single "The First One" was released in December 2020 on the *blue-very label* and has been a long seller and a hit with fans of mellow indie pop, such as Prefab Sprout.This second single has a smoother touch and a more urban and sophisticated sound, with a further swelling of mellowness, as if you could almost hear the breath of their close allies Mr. & Mrs. Muffins. Noah Wilson of the Muffins also contributes to the arrangement of "Tea With Sugar," and B1, "Pacific Detailers," features the same arrangement. Also, on B1 "Pacific Detailers," Yuko Iizumi, vocalist of Japan's microstar group, joins in on the back chorus. Therefore, it is not out of place to connect this album to the city pop genre. This topical work is sure to reach a wider range of music fans! Mastering was done by Seiki Sato, the brain behind microstar. The design was done by Atsushi Ito of AIRS "If you become an adult (winner of the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival Manga Division Newcomer Award), etc.," as in the previous work.
