The WINZBACH CHOIR was founded in 1946 and is one of Germany's most renowned children's choirs, with a high level of perfection in the accurate pitch and beautiful singing of Bach's famous cantatas, Since 2012, the choir has been further developing under the leadership of the young Martin Lehmann, who was born in 1973. Holy Spirit" was first sung at the Council of Aachen. The hymn is unusual in its direct appeal of man to the Holy Spirit, and great composers such as Brahms and Max Reger have adapted it in the style of their time.The Wintzbach Boys Choir's latest album, "Water & Spirit," is a collection of variations on this hymn from different periods, beginning with the Baroque period and continuing through the Romantic era to the present day, exploring themes of peace, salvation, protection, and the eternal yearning for spiritual enlightenment. It explores themes of peace, salvation, protection and the eternal longing for spiritual enlightenment. Co-performed by young percussionist Simone Rubino, who combines the sounds of marimba and other percussion instruments to create a timeless and profoundly new sound for these sacred masterpieces. Simone Rubino is the winner of the 2014 Munich International Competition and the 2016 Young Artist Award. She performed Tan Dun's marimba concerto "Tears of Nature" at the Lucerne Festival with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sohiyev, and has premiered many of Tan Dun's works. 2017 also saw her perform at La Folle Journée au Japon. In addition to performing, he also composes music, and one piece he wrote for this album is included. Sony Music
