The mature and charming 1991 album "Holidays in Eden", which marks a new chapter in the band's history and was created from the ground up with new frontman Steve Hogarth, is now available on a single CD set featuring the latest stereo remixes! Marillion, a British progressive rock band that has been attracting many progressive rock fans in the U.K. and Europe for 40 years since their formation, is reissuing their original albums in a deluxe edition. The new album is a new addition to the series of deluxe edition reissues of their original albums, which have led the British neo-progressive rock scene since the 1980s. This time, Marillion's sixth studio album, "Holidays in Eden," released in 1991, will be reissued in a deluxe edition. This is the second album with Steve Hogarth, who joined the band after the departure of the original frontman, Fish. While much of the music on the previous album, "SEASON'S END", had already been written before Steve Hogarth joined the band, "HOLIDAYS IN EDEN" is the first album that was created from scratch after Hogarth joined the band.The new lineup brought a new approach to the band, and at the same time, the band was under a lot of pressure from EMI, the label of the time, to produce radio-friendly singles that would be commercially viable. As a result, the album was produced by Chris Neal, who, like the band members, wanted the album to have a "typical Marillion sound" except for the singles. The result is HOLIDAYS IN EDEN, an album featuring adult-oriented pop-rock singles such as "No One Can" and "Dry Land," along with witty, stirring rock numbers such as "The Party" and "This Town. The album also featured witty and inspiring rock numbers such as "The Party" and "This Town. Holiday in Eden, which Hogarth called "the most pop album in Marillion's history," reached #7 on the UK Albums Chart. The new 1-CD set will include a new stereo remix by Stephen W Tayler, which was included on CD1 of the deluxe edition of the album released last year.
