The Hermitage Trio, formed in 2011, performs a variety of piano trios with a rich Spanish flavor. Piano Trio. Their previous work was an attempt at Rachmaninoff's difficult trio (RR-147SACD), and this time it is a Spanish one. Enrique Fernández Albos, who was also the concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, plays a piano trio full of Spanish emotion. Albos is also known for his arrangement of Albéniz's "Iberia" for orchestra, and for the anecdote that Ravel, who later tried to arrange the same piece, gave up because Albos had arranged it first, and instead composed "Bolero" as a replacement. The second piano trio by Joaquin Turina, one of the leading composers of the Spanish National Music School.
