This is the first solo album by singer/songwriter/multi-musician Shorty Long, who was active as a producer for Soul Records, a sub-label of Motown, in the early 1960s. He had three funky hits from this album, and was expected to be a gem to lead Motown in the new era. However, he died in an accident in June 1969 at the age of 29, and this was his only album. This is his only album. (Released in 1968)
