K.K. Downing has been a member of Judas Priest since 1969, and since their debut in 1974, he has been known as one of the leading twin guitarists in the metal world. KK's Priest, which he formed after leaving Priest in 2011, has dropped its second album in two years. The band members other than K.K. remain the same as on the previous album, including Tim "Ripper" Owens, another former Judas Priest member who sang on the album after Rob Halford's departure from the band. Like the previous album, K.K. himself produced this album. The album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, one of the best engineers in the contemporary metal scene, who has also worked with Arch Enemy, Volbeat, and Amaranth. Two additional bonus tracks are included on the Japanese edition only.
