The album features collaborations with Robin, The Avalanches, Kelsey Lou, John Glacier, Panda Bear, Oona Doherty, and The XXX's bandmates, Romy and Oliver Sim. Four years in the making, beginning with the highly acclaimed 2020 Essential Mix, the album weaves together a period of self-reflection, a global pandemic, the return of blinking strobe lights, and a growing love of surfing as a means of escapism, and is the result of the world The result is a work that surpasses the previous album, which received worldwide acclaim.
