The group is famous for Brenda Reed's tenacious vocals and for the work of Lieber & Stoller, but especially for "Tell Him," a superb song written by Bert Berns under the name Bert Russell, which could be called a New York version of The Marvelettes. This CD release is a delight for pop and soul fans alike, with five bonus tracks that are not included on the album, including "Do-Wah-Diddy," a well-known cover of the Manfred Mann song.
