This is the second chapter of "Paradise Cinema" created by Jack Wiley, a multi-instrumentalist known for his work with the Portico Quartet and others, with percussionists from Senegal. Continuing from the previous release, this album is released on Gondwana Records, a prestigious jazz label in Manchester known for Hanya Lani, Caoilfhion Rose, Hanakiv, and others. Inspired by Jon Hassell, Terry Riley, Don Cherry, Midori Takada, contemporary electronic music, ambient, non-Western music, and even physics and science fiction, this album is a perfect balance of minimal music and Balinese music rhythms. It is an ambient jazz album with a new age flavor, blending minimalist music and Ngambara rhythms in a perfect balance. The album is a rare example of contemporary festive music that combines polyrhythmic dance~trance elements with serene, free-tempo droning ambient. Highly recommended. !!!!!!!!!!!!
