The long-awaited 4th album by US electronic project Meishi Smile is now available! An emotional dream-pop masterpiece of roar and silence produced with a band!The new 4th album "Limerence" was announced at the time of the release of the 10th anniversary edition of the first album "LUST", which was once spoiled by the Corona disaster. The first version of the prototype for this album was completed in 2019, but due to COVID-19, Faye discarded the album and released the frustrating industrial metal piece "Ressentiment". After this process, the band shifted to its current composition with bassist Jason and drummer Zachary, and completed a completely new version of "Limerence," which was in the works.The band's newest release is "White Cloud," an intoxicating yet raw meditative electronica-pop that mixes shoegaze, Japanese pop, 90's alternative rock, and nuances of 2010's indie; "Strawberry Wrist," a fast-moving indie rock song with twin vocals by a man and a woman; "Love Will Ruin Us," an emotional mix of Meishi Smile's hardcore and 80's new wave; and "The Loneliness of Capitalism," a song about loneliness.
