Prince, who will be eight years old in April 2023, is still one of the most respected and charismatic musicians in the music scene, with 12 platinum albums, 30 hit singles, and nearly 200 million albums sold worldwide. Now, Prince's ultra-rare live archive is available on CD!

In 1988, Prince released "Lovesexy" in place of "Black Album" which had been cancelled the previous year. During this tour, the September 9 concert in Dortmund, Germany was recorded and broadcast as a special program on German broadcaster WDR. This album is a live album based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast, and includes the acoustic set and three encores in two parts. The set list, consisting mainly of songs from the new album and representative songs from each of Prince's albums, is like a "best of" album at this point in time, and since no live albums exist up to this time, this album shows how great Prince was as a live artist!
