The second album from the Hungarian prog metal band from 2012, which also features vocals from AFTER CRYING, is an ambitious work that follows the style of the previous album while breaking new ground! The band features Zoltan 'BZ' Batky (vo), who also played in the Hungarian HM band WENDIGO and the famous Hungarian symphonic rock band AFTER CRYING, and András Ádás 'BZ' Batky from the Hungarian technical melodic metal band DREYELANDS. András Ádám Horváth (g/vo) from the Hungarian technical-melodic metal band DREYELANDS, and members of other strong HM/progressive rock bands from Hungary such as K3 and STONEHENGE, have come together for the second album from AT NIGHT I FLY, a prog metal project in 2012! As the title suggests, the album is a concept work depicting various human relationships based on the themes of "collision," "fusion," and "division," and it features a melody-oriented prog metal sound reminiscent of works by Dream Theater and Threshold, with a modern taste added through the use of electronic gimmicks. The style of this album is the same as the previous album.The band's appeal is not so much in the speed of its heavy sounding production as in the well-crafted arrangements and grandeur of its experienced musicians, which can be heard on the acoustic ballad "Different Skies" and the instrumental number "The Sky Above". The acoustic ballad "Different Skies," the instrumental number "The Sky Above," a full-fledged string arrangement with the Budapest Art Orchestra, and "Distress," which finds the band breaking new ground by creating depth through the use of transparent ambient soundscapes, are just a few of the highlights of the album.
