The XX released their third album, "I See You," four and a half years after their last album! Their second album "Coexist" was released in 2012 and charted at No. 1 in five countries, including the U.K. The following year, they performed at the Fuji Rock Festival. In 2015, the band's brainchild, Jamie XX, released his solo debut, "In Color". In a departure from the monochromatic and melancholy image of The XX's sound, the album featured not only the band members but also a variety of guests, including Young Thug, and once again showcased the band's talent.And now, for their first release in four and a half years, the band has recorded around the world from March 2014 to August 2016 in New York, Texas, Reykjavik, Los Angeles, and their home town of London! The band has taken a giant leap forward from the introverted, melancholic sound of their last two albums to a more open and expansive sound, resulting in what can be considered their best work to date!
