Legendary musician and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Fogerty celebrates his 80th birthday with his latest album, the first time he has taken complete ownership of his songs and recorded them anew with the backing of his sons Shane and Tyler Fogerty.
Consisting of 20 newly recorded versions of Fogerty's most beloved Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, from "Proud Mary" and "Bad Moon Rising" to "Fortunate Sun" and "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," the The album celebrates an iconic catalog and a personal reclaiming of artistic ownership.
Produced by Fogarty and his son Shane Fogarty, the album was executive produced by his wife Julie Fogarty. In addition to Shane, his brother Tyler Fogarty recorded the album with members of Fogarty's touring band. Legendary engineer Bob Clearmountain mixed the album. The result is a vibrant and electrifying collection that captures the raw spirit of Fogerty's original songs while breathing new life into them.
