The quintessence of Chick, the wizard of sound! A project by a master pianist, full of melancholy and dynamism. Chick Corea, a master pianist, is still very popular for his unabated creativity and energetic activities. Since his collaboration with legendary flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, Spanish flavor has become an important aspect of Chick's musicality, and has given rise to such signature songs as "Spain" and "La Fiesta" as well as the classic album "My Spanish Heart. Jorge Pardo and Niño Joselle, former members of the Paco de Lucia Band, were invited from Spain to the United States to record with trusted members associated with Chick. The new flamenco dancer Nino de los Reyes also joins the band for a spectacular performance of footwork. The album includes Chick's classic songs "My Spanish Heart" and "Rumba de Armando," a cover of the bossa nova "Desafinado" and Paco de Lucia's "Sillayabu," and a new song written by Chick. Guest vocalists include popular Panamanian salsa singer Ruben Blais.
