LA Priest, the solo project of Sam Dust, frontman of Late of The Pier, a legendary band that was part of the UK dance-rock movement alongside the Klaxons and CSS, has released its latest album! The album, "Fase Luna," was inspired by the ocean and named after a modular drum machine that Sam designed himself using 150 electrical circuits. The album, which is the purest LA Priest sound to date without any synthesizers, is a "fairy tale" with Sam crooning melodies and local Mexican musician Carlos Gabriel Favela Manzano playing the drums. The result is a "fairy tale".The opening track "Fase Luna" with its shimmering guitar sound creates a slumbering psychedelia, "It's You," a funky love song about a man who falls in love with a mermaid and has to choose between a life on land or a life at sea, and the cool and uplifting "Sail On," a masterpiece. The album features nine must-hear songs, including the classic "Sail On". It's unstable but comfortable, with a mysterious floating feeling throughout the album, and can be recommended for lovers of Shintaro Sakamoto, Bobby Ozora, Yo La Tengo, and Fishmans. !!!!!!!!
