Description:
Veteran LARS BARTKUHN has been on a roll for the past few years with his masterful releases, including LPs on the long-established NEEDS, UTOPIA, Dutch RUSH HOUR, and CALM-supervised FIRST ON VINYL. This is a work of improvised music created after moving to Brazil, blissful ambient music expressed as electronic music using the theories of jazz and classical music, which are his roots. It has been about 9 years since the last album, and the production process was focused on improvisation, without using a PC, sequencers, or drum machines. Performed on modular synths, acoustic instruments, and hand percussion, and overdubbed with recorded material. The result is a beautiful work that conveys LARS BARTKUHN's love for music. The album cover features a painting by Dutch artist Franz Deckwitz, which was inspired by a trip to the Italian island of Ponza, which raises the resolution of this work.
