Hermann Pry (1929-1998), a famous baritone singer, was born in Berlin and grew up in Germany during the Nazi era. He always said, "I am a singer of the European Union (EU)," but his own activities were never limited to Europe and within Europe alone, and his repertoire covers not only German songs but also operettas, musicals, POPS, and a wide range of other genres. This 5-CD set offers a glimpse into his diverse side, with charming singing of a variety of German operatic arias, songs, folk tunes, cabaret songs, and pop songs.
