A previously unreleased album by LEO NOCENTELLI, an original member of THE METERS, is being reissued on limited-edition tricolor vinyl! Guitarist LEO NOCENTELLI, who was only 14 years old when he started backing Otis Redding and is the author of some of THE METERS' most famous songs such as "Cissy Strut" and "Hey Pocky A-Way", recorded this album in the early 70's, but it was never released. Allen Toussaint, James Black, GEORGE PORTER JR of METERS, ZIGABOO MODELISTE, and other leading musicians of New Orleans are gathered in one place, and if it had been released at that time, it would have been a masterpiece. If it had been released at the time, it would have been passed down through the generations as a masterpiece. The master tapes were miraculously found intact at a swap meet in Southern California in 2018 after escaping the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, leading to this release, which is literally a miracle of discovery!
