Following the worldwide success of their last album, "Aftershock", the band has teamed up with longtime producer Cameron Webb for this new album, "Bad Magic", which marks the first time the trio of Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell (g), and Micky Dee (ds) have been together in the studio since the band's inception. This is the first time the three of them have written a song together and recorded it in the studio.As a result, a rawer live feel dominates the entire album than on any of their previous releases in the last 20 years, making it more powerful, intense, loud, uncompromisingly tough, and outrageously heavy than ever before. Listening to songs like "Thunder and Lightning," which sounds like a big trailer rushing toward you, and "Teach Them How to Bleed," one of the loudest songs on the album, it is obvious that the band is still spitting out their unchanging "motor sound" of rock and roll. The album also includes a cover of the Rolling Stones' classic "Sympathy For The Devil" and the ballad "Antilles The End," making it one of Motorhead's finest works since the mid-period.
