Super spectacular! Opera on the Lake, Bregenz Music Festival "Rigoletto" directed by Philipp Stölzl. Bregenz is located on the western edge of Austria, near the border between Germany and Switzerland. The festival, which was started in 1946 and funded by the wealthy citizens of the city, is a four-week performance of spectacular operas that combine traditional performing arts with state-of-the-art technology on a stage set up on Lake Constance. The orchestra and chorus perform not on stage, but in an adjacent hall, where they are mixed with the soloists on stage using the latest sound technology and delivered to the audience through speakers installed in the auditorium. This video is, surprisingly, the first performance of Verdi's "Rigoletto" at the festival. The production is directed by Philippe Stölzl, who has been gaining attention as an opera director in recent years.He is also a film director whose works include "Eiger North Face" and "Goethe's Love: 'The Sorrows of Young Werther'" were released in Japan, as well as a music video for the German rock band Rammstein. He is active in a wide range of fields, including music videos for the German rock band Rammstein. Described by the German newspaper "Handelsblatt" as "this Rigoletto has become a Hollywood-like spectacle on the lake," Sternzl's breathtaking performance is a must-see. ≪Rigoletto" is a masterpiece of Verdi's middle period, an opera that premiered in 1851 at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice with great success and has been performed around the world since then. The "Song of the Woman's Heart" sung by the Duke of Mantova in the third act is a particularly famous aria. The Duke of Mantova will be played by American tenor Stephen Costello, who has attracted worldwide attention since his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 2007 at the age of 26.And Rigoletto is Vladimir Stoyanov, a Bulgarian baritone who has a stately voice as an actor.
