Sándor Mahlái's novel "Embász (Burning)," known in Japan by the title "Burning. His attempt to flee Hungary in 1948 led to the banning of all his works, and it was not until 1990, the year after his death, that his works were reprinted in his native country. The music for this tense and sometimes meditative story was composed by the contemporary Italian composer Marco Tutino (1954-). The world premiere recording was made in 2015. (C)RS
