Grenada / Jamaican-American black artist JJJJEROME ELLIS, incorporates live theatrics, performance art, composition, spoken word and storytelling, saxophone, organ, hammered dulcimer, electronics and his own voice to create original soundscapes, Using saxophone, organ, hammered dulcimer, electronics, and his own voice, he creates original soundscapes. The performance name JJJJJEROME ELLIS comes from the fact that the word he stutters the most is his own name. After a period of therapy as a child, everything changed when he picked up the saxophone in the seventh grade. He says. His second album, VESPER SPARROW, is based on "the connection to black religious traditions and heritage," and is a manifestation of JJJJEROME's life's work in pursuit of music, sound, stuttering, and blackness through the lens of time.The spiritual and serene musicality of this album, which incorporates elements of spoken word, jazz, and blues derived from Caribbean and Black American music into a contemporary experimental music style, is sure to appeal to many music fans. If you liked ELIANA GLASS "E," which was released on the same label this year and attracted a lot of attention, you will surely be fascinated by this great daffodil disc.
