The band released two albums at the end of 70's with the folklore sound from Andes region, which introduced folk instruments such as panpipes, charango, quena, guitarone, congas, etc., and also with elements of progressive-sympho and jazz-rock. The '78 debut album by the Argentine band HORIZONT was reissued on CD from Fonocal in Argentina in '24! As mentioned above, the album is a progressive folk album with folklore/ethno tones with acoustic instruments, which is similar to ARCO IRIS and AUCAN, and also with restrained ad-libs that show the spread of so-called spiritual jazz style. The album is a progressive folk album with percussive and intricate ensembles that lasts more than 10 minutes, including the impressive instrumental "Selva Del Sol" and "Piel de cobre," which builds from a delicate Argentinean vocal part to a climax of soaring organ/guitar. This is a natural fusion of folklore and progressive rock!
