Bloomington indie-pop band Hoops has released "Tapes 1-3," a compilation of 18 rare early cassette recordings. Hoops started as a solo project of frontman Drew Auscherman. He was originally creating ambient and beat-based music in his bedroom with a penchant for One Autrix Point Never's "Replicas". Drew then invited his friends to form a band to embody his music. In 2014, the band expanded to its current four-piece lineup and released three albums on cassette. This album is a compilation of songs that are now hard to find!
