United Progressive Fraternity

Description:

The project is led by Mark "Truey" Trueack (vo), Matt Williams (g), Dave Hopgood (dr), Tim Irrgang (per) and other members of Australian progressive/symphonic rock band "UNITOPIA". The band's '23 album is now available as a 3-CD set! Following "PART 1: LOSS" in '19, the band is led by Mark "Truey" Trueack and Steve Unruh (vln/g/flu/vo), a multi-instrumentalist who also plays in THE SAMURAI OF PROG and RESISTOR, etc. The album is the first major album with the theme of "environmental destruction and preservation of the earth/nature. This is the second installment of a major concept series on the theme of "environmental destruction and the protection of the earth/nature", and the final installment of a trilogy that began with the debut album in 2002. This time, the film focuses on the severe environmental problems that humanity is already facing or is expected to face in the future, and at the same time, as the subtitle suggests, it offers hope for the future survival of humanity through proactive actions to immediately address these problems.Steve Hackett of GENESIS, Colin Edwin of O.R.K./former PORCUPINE TREE, Jonas Reingold/Hasse Froberg of THE FLOWER KINGS, Ryo Okumoto of SPOCK'S BEARD, Michel St-Pere of MYSTERY/HUIS, Charlie Cawood of KNIFEWORLD/LOST CROWNS/JOIN THE DIN, Jean Pierre Louveton of NEMO. Michel St-Pere of MYSTERY/HUIS, Charlie Cawood of KNIFEWORLD/LOST CROWNS/JOIN THE DIN, Jean Pierre Louveton of NEMO, and many more guest musicians too gorgeous to mention here. The album is a grand scale symphonic rock that surpasses the previous works and UNITOPIA's works. The arrangements naturally blend world music and ethno tones in line with the theme of the earth, with melody lines that have an indigenous habit and percussion instruments that beat out tribal beats, and the dramatic composition of the album with narration throughout. The CD also includes a bonus disc by THE ROMANTECHS, a group consisting of Mark Trueack, Steve Unruh, and Christophe Lebled, the producer of this album. The bonus disc is a collection of symphonic, ethno, and ambient compositions that are different from the main album.
