The fifth collection in the surprisingly popular "Reference Harmonium" series! This is a collection of harmonium works by German composer August Reinhardt (1831-1912). The harmonium is basically a foot-stomping organ, but it can produce a variety of tones by using numerous stops, and it became very popular in the mid-19th century. Belgian organist Joris Ferdin has been making efforts to revive buried harmonium works, and this CD is one of them. The unique and elegant splendor of this CD is pleasant to listen to. 1922 Müstel Harmonium and 1900 Müstel Orgel-Celesta were used for this CD. The piano is an 1875 Steinway. Tobu Land System
