The Bonn Beethoven Orchestra has been in existence for more than 100 years, and has performed with many distinguished conductors, creating a matured sound. In its popular Beethoven series, the Bonn Beethoven Orchestra has been well received for its thoughtful, romantic, and rich approach to Beethoven, while incorporating period techniques. In this fourth collection, the "Hero" Symphony is combined with the rarely heard "Dedication" Overture and "King Stefan" Overture. The "Dedication" Overture was written for the opening of the Josefstadt Theater, and the "King Stefan" Overture is a transitional work from the mid to late period. The overture to "King Stefan" is a transitional work from the mid to late period, and is also a modest but tasteful work. Of course, please enjoy the brilliant sound filled with wonderful dynamism, including the main work, Symphony No. 3, in SACD high quality. Universal Music/IMS
