Description:
Italian trio Quodlibet begins recording Beethoven! After a series of impressive releases, including the rare Bruno Giulanna version of the "Golberg Variations" and Mozart's "Turkish March with Flute" for quartet with flute, the young Italian ensemble Trio Quodlibet has begun recording Beethoven. This first volume includes two of their earliest works, the String Trio No. 1 and the Serenade. Formed by cellist Fabio Fausone, who studied with Natalya Gutman and Enrico Dindo, Trio Quodlibet won second prize at the Vartidone International Chamber Music Competition in 2016, first prize at the European Music Competition in Moncalieri, and in 2018 The ensemble has been steadily growing and gaining recognition, winning second prize at the Concorso Internazionale di Musica da Camera Massimiliano Antonelli in Latina in 2018.He has toured the south of France with Project Goldberg (Progetto Goldberg), which began in 2015, and has been widely invited to perform at the Museo Violino in Cremona and the concert series at the Toscana Monteverdi Music Festival.
