TALISMAN, an important reggae group from Bristol active since the early 80's, was formed in 1977 as REVELATION ROCKERS and soon changed their name to TALISMAN. Formed in 1977 as the REVELATION ROCKERS and soon renamed, TALISMAN were regarded as one of the top reggae acts alongside fellow locals BLACK ROOTS. They became popular for their intense live shows and performed together as fronts for BURNING SPEAR, THECLASH, and THE ROLLING STONES. This LP reissue features two singles released on RECREATIONAL RECORDS in 1981, plus five long-lost songs. Completely remastered, limited pressing of 500 copies.
