Nate Radley is a Concord, New Hampshire-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist and composer who also leads his own group, works on a variety of collaborative projects, and is a sideman for numerous bands in the New York area and worldwide. He has recorded for several labels, including Fresh Sound/New Talent, Sunnyside, and Steeplechase, and he has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Atlanta Jazz Festival, and other jazz He has also performed at festivals. He currently teaches jazz guitar, music theory, and jazz ensemble at the Center for Music Preparatory Studies at Queens College and Hunter College.His last album, "Puzzle People," intrigued and greatly surprised critics and listeners alike with its unique choice of repertoire and the sheer joy of his playing. And now, in his first duo recording with his longtime friend, pianist Gary Versace, he demonstrates his talent for creating a rich soundscape.
