The Choir of St. John's College Cambridge, one of the world's leading college choirs as of 2018, and the Choir of St. John's College, which has a long history and tradition of performing in worship services since the 1670s, will be joined by Andrew Nesinga, who has created many masterpieces since becoming Music Director in 2007. Androu Nesinga, who has created many masterpieces with the choir since his appointment as music director in 2007. This Christmas album from St. John's College Choir Cambridge features live performances from 2014-2017 from their annual Advent service, which is broadcast almost every year on BBC Radio 3. The album includes traditional carols, Renaissance chants by Palestrina and Gibbons, and modern British hymns by Britten and Vaughan Williams, as well as works by contemporary leading composers such as Judith Bingham, David Bednar, and John Joubert (five of which are world premiere recordings! ), this is a program unique to St. John's College.
