The group had the luxury of recording the works of Bach and Telemann in the baroque castles associated with them, with each location offering a different acoustic effect. Finally, the ensemble's composer-in-residence, SJ Hanke, has commissioned a work for the ensemble. Written for a baroque orchestra, the piece starts out as a tutti with unison at its core, but the music moves forward rapidly with bold ideas and an exhilarating sense of speed.
