Recorded in 1957, this is the first time Stan Getz and Gerry Mulligan collaborated as the main horns under the direction of Norman Granz. On the first three tracks ("Let's Fall in Love," "Anything Goes," and "Too Close for Comfort"), Getz plays baritone saxophone and Mulligan tenor saxophone, providing a unique opportunity for the two jazz stars to trade instruments The music is harmonized beautifully with the help of a world-class rhythm section that includes Lou Levy on piano, Ray Brown on bass, and Stan Levy on drums.
