The Cologne Concert - a landmark recording of Keith Jarrett's impromptu solo concert at the Cologne Opera House - has achieved legendary status since its release in 1975. An iconic album and an important record of its time, few live recordings of any genre have been as widely acclaimed as this one. recorded on January 24, 1975 and first released on November 30 of the same year, "Cologne Concert" was produced by Manfred Eicher. Manfred Eicher was in charge of the production. To commemorate its 50th anniversary this year, a special one-press-only double LP set is being released.
His solo playing is unique in the world of music, and "Cologne Concerts" is its most moving and eloquent expression.
