Description:
Max Richter, sometimes described as the most influential composer of our time, pursues his own themes with a new perspective in his latest work. In A Landscape," the new album by this most important artist, is now available. Of the album, Richter says: "For me, the music on this recording is a double achievement. For me, the music on this recording is about bringing together or harmonizing extremes. Acoustic instruments and electronics, the natural world and the human world, and big ideas about life and the personal and internal. This was the impetus for what I began to explore on my 2004 album Blue Notebook, and this new project shares much with that album. In some respects this recording revisits the themes of my earlier work, but from the perspective of our world and our lives in the year 2024. The title could easily be misinterpreted as "Inner Landscape," but it refers to some of the ideas in this recording. So much for the "Inner Landscape" of the title. The other landscape, the landscape of our daily lives, is also included in this recording in several different ways. Life Study," a sort of interlude between tracks, is a field recording from my daily life on the road and in the studio. The music itself, on the other hand, is my attempt, as always, to seek answers to the question of how to understand the present of our life here and our daily life as I experience it." Max Richter was born in Germany in 1966. He studied piano and composition at the University of Edinburgh and the Royal Academy of Music, and studied composition with Luciano Berio in Florence. 2002 marked his solo album debut with "Memory House" for orchestra and electronics, which was described as "groundbreaking" by Pitchfork in the US. It was hailed as "groundbreaking" by Pitchfork in the United States. Since then, he has released many albums and is extremely popular as a charismatic composer of post-classical music.
