Description:
Richard Carpenter, who has sold more than 120 million records in total and continues to touch people with such timeless classics as "Yesterday Once More," "Top of the World," and "Far Away in the Shadows," has released the first solo piano album of his career! Richard Carpenter is a composer, arranger, and keyboardist who, along with his sister Karen, dominated the Carpenters' music scene with his piano playing on many of the Carpenters' greatest hits. Since Karen's death, Richard has released two solo albums, but this is his first new album in 23 years, and the first solo piano album of his career, in which he performs many of the Carpenters' classic songs on his own piano. The first solo piano album of his career. Richard says of this album, "Since I was a little kid, I was not only playing music, but I was also into records, and in the late 40s and 50s, the big labels at the time were Columbia, Victor, and Decca. And Bing Crosby, who was a big star, was on Decca! When I heard about this project from Decca, the first thing that came to mind was my father and mother. And I thought this project was the best present for their son who hated to practice. It was a difficult challenge to present the Carpenters' songs on solo piano, but with the help of the wonderful instrument that is the piano, I hope that everyone will enjoy the album," he said. On October 19, three days before the album's release, the Carpenters' first officially authorized biography "Carpenters: The Musical Legacy," in which Richard himself tells the Carpenters' story for the first time, will be released overseas. The Carpenters: The Musical Legacy," the first officially authorized biography of the Carpenters, will be released overseas on October 19. The new "Piano Songbook," which will soon be released at the age of 75, will also be an essential work in unraveling the Carpenters' history.
