The 2017 release from MXLX, the solo project of UK Bristol multi-instrumentalist Matt Loveridge, formerly of the experimental rock band Beak, which includes Portishead's Geoff Barrow, is now available exclusively on Ba Da Bing! The prolific artist has released over 60 solo works under various names, none of which are available for streaming, but MXLX's is one of his most well-known works and is being released for the first time outside of vinyl and his own website. It blends ambient, electronic, noise, metal, and industrial, while incorporating an intensity reminiscent of Pharmakon and The Body, as well as compositional noise in the vein of Colin Stetson.
